Environmental Management

With specific expertise in environmental hydraulics and sedimentation processes, Baird has often provided support to environmental management projects, ranging from impact evaluation to site development and remediation. Baird works in close association with teams of biologists, geomorphologists, fisheries specialists and other scientists, providing that much needed linkage and understanding between the physical process, and the biological or chemical processes occurring in a waterway.

Baird maintains an extensive library of state-of-the-art water quality, sediment transport and hydrodynamic models for application to environmental problems, including one of the foremost dredge plume evaluation models. In addition, we have an array of tools to assess and visualize the results of field sampling. But most of all, Baird has the depth of experience to apply this advanced technology to solve environmental problems with integrity and sound science.
