St. Vincent School Kindergarten to Grade 8, Oakville, Ontario, Canada

After learning about the situation at AME Zion Basic School in Kedzi, the St. Vincent community decided to make this their Lenten Initiative for 2001. Classes from Kindergarten to Grade 8 were involved with learning about Kedzi and gathering supplies for the Kedzi students.

They created a kit for each student at the kedzi school that included:

  • a personal letter,
  • a pen,
  • a pencil and eraser,
  • a workbook,
  • and a ruler.

Every one at St. Vincents had a lot of fun. They are all looking forward to learning more about their friends in Ghana
