- With the remaining funds that have been raised
by the Kedzi School Foundation and Great Lakes Dredge
& Dock new desks and chairs and other furniture
and computer equipment will be supplied to the school.
Although the community has no electricity at this time
generators are used to provide temporary electrical
supply.
Auguest 2003 - The school construction
is nearing completion. The roofs are on each
of the three wings of the school that will house approximately
400 children. The students will move to the new school
at the beginning of the school year in September. Finishing
touches include the addition of doors, shutters, furniture
and the library.

July 2003 - Kiwanis
International Foundation announces it will donate USD
$5,000 to the Kedzi School Project augmenting
the USD $2,600 raised by Kiwanis Club of Madison East,
Madison Wisconsin. Special thanks to the efforts of
Larry Ryan of the Kiwanis Club of Madison East. Together
the Kiwanis donations will fund the establishment of
the school library.
June 21, 2003 - The
official handover ceremony of the new school
to the local community was held at the site of the new
school. Attending on behalf of the Kedzi School Foundation
were Rob and Andrea Nairn. Gary Schack represented Great

A Recognized Charity!
You can make a tax-deductible donation to "Kedzi
School Foundation." All previous and future donations
made in 2002 will receive tax receipts toward the end
of 2002. We still require more
funding to complete the project and are grateful for
continuing donations. Receipts will be provided for
the 2003 tax year.

Lakes Dredge & Dock Company have
