  Dr. Ahmadi is a coastal and marine engineer with 20 years of experience in both of coastal engineering/modeling and marine structural engineering/design. He has worked on various international marine projects with diverse metocean climates, from concept through detailed design.

  Santiago, Chile

  Alejandro is a project engineer with a master’s degree in coastal processes and engineering. He has supported hydrodynamic simulation studies, tsunamis and wave climate analysis using linear numerical models.

  Dave has over thirty years' experience in the planning, design, and construction of coastal projects around the world. Specializing in the modelling/design of coastal of marine structures, he has complementary experience in the modelling/analysis of metocean and coastal processes, and managing multi-disciplinary teams on major coastal projects.

  Matthew is a coastal engineer who grew up in the Caribbean and is passionate about restoring our natural systems, such as coral reefs and mangroves, to achieve coastal protection of assets. Matthew also leads Baird’s Field Services group for equipment deployment and data collection.

  Lars is a senior landscape architect with over 40 years' experience. He works on projects involving waterfront planning and design including site analysis, master planning, feasibility studies, cost estimates, design, and construction administration.

  Rodey has worked on coastal restoration and marine construction projects around the US and abroad. His work includes geotechnical analysis, coastal and marine structures, wetland restoration design, CADD, cost estimating, and construction field support.

  Marjan is a coastal and water resources EIT with a background in marine hydrodynamics and has a Ph.D. in Arctic Engineering. She has undertaken various modeling projects with a focus on hydrodynamics, sediment transport, shoreline protection, and wave processes.

  Mark is a coastal scientist with experience in planning, design and construction of shoreline restoration, protection and resiliency projects specializing in the effective applications of nature-based solutions. His background also includes the investigation and remediation of contaminated media and obtaining environmental approvals for complex infrastructure projects.

  Rob is a river and coastal engineering expert with more than thirty-five years’ experience on flooding, erosion, sedimentation, water quality and water resource projects on rivers, estuaries, lakes, coasts and oceans round the world. He has a Ph.D. in Coastal Erosion and Sediment Transport.

In addition to numerical modelling, Rebecca’s skills include project management, data visualization, engineering design, and field data analysis.

  Keith is a coastal engineer with a Ph.D. in numerical modeling and has experience in coastal engineering studies, weather and climate modeling, and software development. He is an expert in unstructured mesh generation for geophysical applications and finite element modeling.

  Max is a river and coastal EIT who is currently finishing his MASc in hydrotechnical engineering at Queen’s University focusing on hydrodynamics and sediment transport mechanics in ice covered rivers.

  Claudia is Baird's administrative assistant in the Santiago office, responsible for health and safety, and she is a fervent observer of office recycling. Claudia is a lead participant in the development of Baird's Spanish website.

  Nicole is a coastal engineer with experience in design and numerical and physical modeling of coastal protection strategies. She is passionate about nature-based solutions for coastal resilience and has research experience in seagrass meadow wave attenuation for erosion protection.

  Usama has a Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering and over twenty years' experience as a project manager and coastal/hydraulic engineer. His expertise includes ports, cooling water systems, and large-scale reclamation. His project planning skills and practical approach are valuable to many of Baird's key clients.

  Roberto has been with Baird since 2007 and leading Baird's Santiago office since 2015. His main expertise is in dynamic mooring analysis, having completed over 20 projects, and tsunami modeling, having simulated dozens of tsunamis.

  Murat has a Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering and over twenty-six years' experience in civil/coastal engineering. He has a strong background in modeling, sediments, dredging, coastal erosion, flooding and resiliency. He leads multi-disciplinary teams on large programs, through an understanding of the underlying processes including climate change impacts. Murat co-leads Baird’s NYC office.

  Saeed is a numerical modeler EIT whose expertise includes wave modeling and computational fluid dynamics. He has worked on various projects with an emphasis on coastal processes and hydrodynamics and has extensive experience in open-source numerical packages, customized solution algorithms, and advanced post-processing techniques.

  Sydney, Australia

  Wim is a port engineer with a Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering. He is an expert in the development and application of vessel simulation models (moored ships, passing ships) and port operational forecasting systems (under keel clearance in channels and at-berth conditions).

• Rhian Wardley

  Perth, Australia

  Rhian is an environmental engineer, with training and experience in coastal and ocean engineering. Her expertise is in oceanographic, coastal, estuarine and fluvial process investigations, and how these processes impact natural and built environments.

  Jacob completed a B.S. in Landscape Architecture with an Environmental Studies Certificate in 2014 and has since spent time working in the Midwest, Hawaii, and New Zealand. His experience has been centered around open space design with a focus on waterfronts.
